Every year we seek donations from all Residents and holiday home owners to help fund the Kippford Association (registered charity No SCO 12840).

The objectives, as laid down in the Constitution are: to provide facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupations, provide and maintain the village hall and other local amenities for use by the residents, look after the interests of residents and provide information on village matters.

In the last year we have spent £15,000 on major improvements to your village hall. In the future there will be major expenditure on repairs to the hall floor, improving the kitchen facilities and external decorating, plus the inevitable unexpected repairs.

We are also now working on the establishment of the Kippford Community Nature Reserve, currently planting 4,600 native trees. This work is all being fully funded by grants from various bodies that strongly support our aim – Scottish Natural Heritage, Forestry Commission Scotland, D&G Council, The Lottery Fund and others.

The Association do need your donations to ensure the future of village facility. Please give generously.
