The first trees arrived on Tuesday. These are the larger, pot-grown specimens, 42 in total. We made a good start on Wednesday and Thursday, and have only 15 more to plant tomorrow (Friday). Many thanks to the volunteers who were able to come along this week.

As most of the preparation is done, there will now be a pause of a few weeks before the bigger deliveries of bare rooted trees arrive, probably in the second half of November (they have to be winter dormant before they can be lifted). We’ll let you know as soon as the delivery schedule is known.

Come for a walk round the Nature Reserve and you can now gain an impression of what it will be like once all the trees are in.
